In September 2024, a Yorkshire based charity gathering supporters and philanthropists to raise essential funds for their cause through a range of fundraising activities including Impulse Decisions online auction service.
The primary objective was to raise substantial funds for the charity’s ongoing programs and initiatives. By leveraging an online auction platform, the event aimed to expand participation, making it easy for guests to contribute generously from anywhere, while fostering a sense of community commitment among attendees.
To support the event’s fundraising efforts and achieve the £1 million goal, the charity needed a reliable auction platform, a team of event fundraising professionals to manage every aspect of the event, and additional prizes to enhance the auction which Impulse was able to provide.

The event raised an impressive £179,866, through our silent auciton service far exceeding previous totals and supporting them in exceeding their £1 million target for the evening . The online auction proved effective in maximising donations, making it convenient for guests to engage in real-time bidding and contribute meaningfully to the cause.
The 2024 biannual fundraiser showcased the potential of combining traditional events with modern fundraising tools. With 354 attendees and nearly £180,000 raised, the event achieved exceptional results!
