James founded Impulse Decisions in 2010 following his time at an events management firm in Manchester where he sold high-profile events for the likes of Andrew Flintoff, Rio Ferdinand and celebrity Chef Marco Pierre White. James is responsible for crafting the company’s vision, developing strategic plans and collaborating with a talented team to bring these plans to fruition.

With a background in Sales and Marketing, Will focuses on driving the growth and development of Impulse’s Silent Auction and Online Fundraising Services. His role involves identifying new opportunities for our Silent Auction Service, cultivating existing relationships to uncover new events and avenues for auctions, and supporting internal teams across the business. Additionally, Will manages the auction sales team to ensure effective execution and success.

With a background in professional golf and sales, Tom brings a unique blend of skills and experience to Impulse Decisions. Tom oversees all direct hospitality sales, ensuring that every client experience is exceptional and aligns with our high standards. Tom also plays a key role in contributing to auction sales. As manager of the hospitality team, Tom leads with a focus on excellence and teamwork, contributing significantly to the company’s commercial performance and growth.

Nick is an experienced finance professional with a degree in accounting and Finance as well as an ACA qualification. With extensive knowledge in the field Nick has a strong background in accounting and financial reporting. His role involves overseeing the financial management and overall function of the finance team ensuring accurate reporting and effective financial oversight.

With a degree in Graphic Design Heidi has built a diverse career in the field. Heidi has been with Impulse Decisions for over 5 years progressing from Graphic Designer to Marketing Director. She leads the marketing team in delivering brochure production, enhancing brand awareness, and boosting customer engagement. She oversees the development and execution of marketing strategies across various channels, including branding, social media, digital marketing, and public relations ensuring that all efforts are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives to drive impactful results.

Dannielle Perks

Starting her career in beauty and holistic therapies her qualifications took her into the hospitality and Front of house work. Dannielle originally joined Impulse in 2015 and covered a range of roles from bookings to staffing and left in 2020 due to the impact of COVID. Following this she became CIPD HR level 3 qualified and worked as an Executive Assistant to the Managing Director at an ironmongery wholesaler for just over three years before returning to the Impulse team as Office Manager. Dannielle's role involves ensuring all staff members have the resources they need to work efficiently and effectively, supporting their development and daily, handling HR tasks and managing other office-related duties.

Ross has over 13 years of experience in the travel and events industry, including 10 years with Golf breaks and 3 Years with National Club Golfer. Ross is responsible for the implementation and execution of Impulse Decisions sporting experiences; identifying new package opportunities, reviewing contracts, purchasing, budgeting, sales, and event delivery. With a strong background in sports and hospitality, Ross excels in creating memorable, high-quality experiences for clients and partners.

Luke brings a wealth of sales experience. Luke’s role specialises in selling and hosting premium hospitality packages and experiences for sporting events to businesses, individuals and groups. His role involves developing and nurturing client relationships, understanding their needs and preferences, creating and managing customised packages and negotiating deals whilst ensuring exceptional customer service throughout.

Leanne’s career includes experience in childcare and face painting. She was previously part of the freelance event delivery team before making a career shift to join the hospitality team in 2024. In her current role, Leanne handles a variety of responsibilities, including administration, ticket management and distribution, mailbox management, and stock oversight. She is also responsible for client communication, ensuring that each client’s experience is managed with the highest level of quality and attention to detail.

His role involves identifying new opportunities for our Silent Auction Service to help generate significant funds for a variety of incredible charities.

Aimee’s career spans across a range of sectors including banking, complaints resolution, healthcare, sales, and hospitality. At Impulse Decisions, she has supported various departments, including Finance and Hospitality. Currently, she leads and manages the Staffing department to ensure effective and efficient collaboration with colleagues, driving business growth and success. Her main responsibilities include; managing silent auctions, recruiting booking and training freelance staff and pre and post-event logistics to ensure clients have the best possible experience whilst supporting them in maximising their fundraising through Impulse Decisions silent auction service.

Megan earned a BA in Dance from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where she trained for four years. Following graduation, she worked in various roles within the performing arts industry. She joined Impulse Decisions in 2018 as a Freelance Host/Manager and has since advanced to the position of Senior Events and Auction Manager. In her current role, Megan oversees event management of our silent auction service and ensures that all aspects of event delivery meet exceptional standards. She handles both internal and external communications building strong relationships with clients and freelance employees.

Stephanie’s career is rooted in health and social care, where she has accumulated extensive experience across various roles. She joined the Impulse Decisions team as an Experiences and Bookings Assistant and has since progressed to the position of Event and Auction Manager in 2024. Her role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients and freelance staff to ensure seamless event delivery. Her responsibilities include auction management, providing staffing solutions, recruiting and booking freelance staff, and sending pre-event information ensuring all aspects are handled efficiently and to a high standard.

Brittany’s career spans a variety of roles in the performing arts industry. She started working for Impulse Decisions as a Freelance silent auction Host/Manager and has since advanced to the position of Events and Auction Manager in 2023. Brittany's role involves pre-event preparations, staffing and training, logistics, onsite sales and fundraising, event management and auction delivery ensuring that every aspect of the event and staffing process meets high standards, delivers exceptional experiences for clients and supports them in raising crucial funds for their chosen charities.

Chloe graduated in 2016 with a first class Bsc (Hons) in Psychology from York University. In 2016 Chloe found herself working for Impulse Decisions as a Bookings and Experiences Coordinator. It was through Impulse Decisions that she was introduced to the charitable sector where she had the opportunity to work with some incredible charities which included Candlelighters, Day One Trauma and the NHS, Chloe held various roles including fundraising, frontline support, project management and marketing rejoining the Impulse team in 2023 as Marketing Executive. Chloe is responsible for developing marketing plans and reports and creating engaging content across various mediums. Her role also involves supporting the wider team in producing a range of marketing materials (print, digital, email, social media) to enhance event delivery and client experience.

Will began his career as a web designer at an ecommerce agency in Harrogate. He then spent five years as an in-house graphic designer for an IT company before joining the Impulse team in 2022 as Senior Graphic Designer. His role includes designing auction brochures, hospitality marketing materials, email and social media graphics, and handling photography, videography, and website management.

Experiences and Bookings Manager

Freya previously worked in the IT industry as Sales Support and has held various roles, from working in game shops to teaching ballet to children. Freya joined the Impulse team in 2019 as an Experiences and Bookings Coordinator and has progressed her way up to Experiences and Bookings Manager. She manages the bookings team and provides support wherever needed, including booking clients, inputting events, handling complaints, and renewing contracts all aimed at ensuring a positive client experience. Additionally, she is responsible for developing our custom CRM into a system that meets the company’s requirements.
