Fully Managed Rugby Lunch
Overview
In May 2025, the London Impulse team delivered a fully managed event for our client’s rugby fundraising day. We handled everything from securing the guest speaker and managing the floor plan to creating tailored social media content and advertising. Every detail was carefully planned from start to finish.
The day focused on bringing the club’s community together. It provided an opportunity to support vital improvements for the rugby club. Funds raised will go towards new equipment, refurbishing the changing rooms and showers, and maintaining the pitch and floodlights.
Our fundraising team, led by Senior Event and Auction Manager Megan Becker, used a range of strategies to maximise results. These included a donation page hosted on our online platform SliderStock, pledges, and a Silent Auction.
Megan described the process as:
“Incredibly rewarding. Being part of the entire planning journey with this client was an absolute pleasure. I’m so thrilled we raised such a significant amount for the club. The day was filled with fun and laughter, and seeing it all come together on a beautiful summer’s day in London was a great feeling. I’m already looking forward to the next one.”

Outcomes
With just 120 attendees, we helped raise surplus of £23,000 for the rugby club in a single evening. To not only achieve but exceed our clients expectations, at £7,000, it was a proud moment that made all the team’s hard work truly worthwhile.
