At Impulse Decisions, our people are at the heart of everything we do. From delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to supporting charities across the UK and beyond, our success is built on the dedication, professionalism and teamwork of our incredible staff.
That’s why we’re proud to recognise several standout team members through our Employee of the Quarter and Employee of the Year awards.
OUR 2025 WINNERS
EMPLOYEE OF THE QUARTER – Q3 – JOSH
We’d also like to recognise Josh, our Employee of the Quarter for Q3. As our Creative Artworker, Josh is a brilliant team player who never shies away from hard work. He consistently gets stuck in, supports the wider team wherever needed and remains calm and focused during our busiest periods.
Josh’s reliability, creativity and positive attitude make a real difference to the day-to-day running of the business, and this award was very well deserved.
“I’m extremely privileged to have won Employee of the Quarter, especially because it’s an award voted for by my peers, which makes it the best kind of recognition you can get. Knowing that the people I work with everyday value my contribution means a huge amount to me. I’m genuinely grateful to win this award, and it’s motivated me to keep pushing myself to see what I can achieve next.” – Josh Long
EMPLOYEE OF THE QUARTER – Q4 – BETH
Beth, our Finance Manager, has been named Employee of the Quarter for Q4, recognising her outstanding contribution across the business. Beth is always looking for new ways to improve systems and processes, helping the business operate more efficiently while supporting teams across departments.
Alongside her role in finance, Beth regularly helps at auction events, always with a smile, and has travelled extensively with the team – including events in New York and Ireland. Her willingness to get stuck in, combined with her positive attitude and dedication, makes her a valued and trusted part of the Impulse Decisions team. This recognition is thoroughly deserved.
“We recently had our Q4 meeting whereby we looked back on all the highs and lows of the last quarter of 2025 for Impulse. I got to experience the companies’ busiest quarter for the first time. I looked around and realised the hard work, determination and grit every employee puts in during this time.
To be awarded the employee of the quarter for THIS quarter blew my mind. I wouldn’t see me as more deserving than anyone else in the company over Q4, I had a little bit of imposter syndrome. A real pinch me moment, I am so unbelievably grateful to work for a company who recognise and reward employees the way Impulse does.
An award that is voted for by colleagues will always be a special one. All the little things you do to lend a hand that are so minimal to you, can really save time and work for others. Winning this award has made me feel seen, listened to and appreciated. My motivation to make 2026 a better more successful more productive year is 10-fold. Let go get it.” – Beth Dickinson
EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR – GUY BURROUGHS
Our Employee of the Year award goes to Guy Burrows, Key Account Manager, in recognition of his exceptional contribution and unwavering commitment over the past year. Guy never wavers, is always there to help anyone in need and consistently goes the extra mile.
Guy is known for being one of the politest people you will ever meet – something our clients regularly comment on. This approach is a key reason why clients love working with him and return year after year to use our services. His passion for his work shines through in everything he does, particularly in seeing first-hand the positive impact our services have on the charities we work with.
A TEAM EFFORT
While these awards celebrate individual achievements, they also highlight something even more important: the strength of our wider team. We’re incredibly proud to have an amazing group of people across the business, all of whom play a crucial role in our continued success.
Every department, every role and every individual contributes to the experiences we deliver and the impact we create. Recognition like this is a reminder that our achievements are built together.
Congratulations again to Beth, Josh and Guy – and thank you to the entire Impulse Decisions team for everything you do.
