Impulse host the ‘League Managers Association Awards’
Streamed LIVE on Sky Sports, 18 members of the team from Impulse Decisions helped to host the League Managers Association Awards last month at the famous Great Room at the Grosvenor House in London.
With a guest list full of the best managers across the country, we were the first point of contact welcoming guests, assisting with any questions, guiding guests to their tables, and running the fundraising through a raffle and silent auction. With a star-studded audience including Sir Alex Ferguson, Patrick Viera, Gareth Southgate, Roy Hodgson and Sam Allardyce we knew it was going to be an amazing night. We even helped to present the awards which was an amazing experience, particularly when Jurgen Klopp won the Manager of the year.
Lead by Event Managers Megan and Aimee, the team worked throughout the day to ensure a smooth running of all aspects of the event. Impulse Decisions prides themselves on hiring excellent hosts who bring an event together and takes a huge amount of pressure off the clients.
As Megan summarised, “We are very proud to have been able to support the LMA’S again after a couple of years off due to Covid. It was wonderful event with a huge amount of excitement and pride in the air. The Grosvenor House is always a pleasure to work at. The team worked extremely hard and after a huge amount of planning, it really was wonderful to see everything come together.”
One of the most memorable moments of the night was when Jürgen Klopp collected his accolade, known as the Sir Alex Ferguson Trophy, which is voted for by the full membership of managers across all the divisions, at the LMA Awards. He also won the LMA’s Premier League manager of the year award and said, “This being voted for by my colleagues is obviously the most important prize you can get. I don’t believe in individual prizes in football generally, it is a team sport, and I would be nothing without these boys there. It is all about what we can do together and what we did together.”
