Team day out at the races!
Whilst spending our time taking clients to events worldwide, as a team at Impulse Decisions, we also place an equal priority on ourselves getting out to have fun. This isn’t just for the social reasons, but ensuring we are looking after everyone’s mental health, and planning in time for us all to relax.
Last week, we put our ‘out of offices’ on and headed to Doncaster races for the day – the sun even came out to shine! Enjoying a private box, the day included a two-course meal and a view of the finish line. It was a brilliant day and Mollie in the team turned out to be the dark horse on betting, winning over £220!
Chloe Goodall: Accounts Manager & Social Committee Member: “It was a pleasure to organise our most recent staff social at Doncaster Racecourse. Here at Impulse Decisions, we know that social events with colleagues outside of the workplace are crucial for fostering stronger team bonds and improving overall workplace morale.
Our socials vary throughout the year and aim to provide a relaxed environment where team members can have some fun, connect on a personal level and share experiences”.
Our social committee have arranged some amazing events over the years including pottery painting, Tough Mudder events, afternoon teas and even a George Ezra concert. They always provide a range of different activities to suit everyone’s taste and enjoyment.
Social events outside of work help create a more connected, motivated, and productive team. Our company culture is extremely important to us and providing time to build relationships outside of the working day, is very important. They reduce stress, boost morale and help improve communication as we get to know our colleagues more.
Luke Last, Experiences & Bookings Assistant:
“We set off from Harrogate on a private coach and went to Doncaster Races. When we arrived we were presented with our hospitality passes for our box, which had a stunning view of the racecourse, right on the finish line! We had a couple of drinks and enjoyed watching all the races – no winners for me this time, but well done to Mollie for her lovely win!
I think it’s extremely important to spend time outside of work with colleagues as you get to see and spend time with everyone on a more personal level. The team at Impulse definitely feels more like a big family rather than just colleagues!”
Our social committee are hard at work planning the remaining social events for this year to help our team unwind, have some fun and build connections outside the office. Watch this space….
