The Yorkshire Lord’s Taverners Christmas lunch Wednesday 8 December – 12.30pm, Headingley

Great to be back supporting the Yorkshire Lord’s Taverners Christmas lunch for the second time, and to be celebrating collectively at Christmas time.

Running since 1950 when a group of like-minded cricket enthusiasts gathered in the famous Tavern at Lord’s Cricket Ground. They realised how lucky they were to be enjoying their sport and socialising with friends, and so the conversation turned to a shared desire to help those less fortunate than themselves. With that, the idea of creating a club to help young people took hold.

They now create a range of opportunities for young people with disabilities, and also children in more deprived areas to engage in sport and recreational activities in their local communities, supporting some of the most marginalised and at-risk young people in the UK with events just like this one.

Director of the Yorkshire Lord’s Taverners Jeremy Thomas is also delighted to announce that “Harry Gration will be hosting the Yorkshire Lord’s Taverners Christmas Lunch on Wednesday 8th December at Emerald Headingley Stadium. I can also confirm Paul Merson, English football television pundit and former professional footballer, as one of our guest speakers with Kevin Connelly providing entertainment. With over 300 guests already confirmed there are still spaces available. Please get in touch to book your spot!”.

Impulse Decisions MD James Marsden added, “We are so pleased to be partnering such a brilliant charity and helping to support this event for such a great cause by helping to organise the event and run both a silent and live auction on the day. Getting disadvantaged children involved in sport is a cause very close to our hearts and we look forward to helping to raise significant funds towards the cause.”

With a fabulous three course meal, tables of ten are available for £600, although individual tickets can also be bought. Join Deloitte, KPMG, Pinsent Masons and more, for what promises to be a great event.
