Turnberry Golf Experience March 2018
On Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th March 2018, Impulse Decisions had the pleasure of hosting a group of our most valued clients at the fabulous Trump Turnberry Resort, Scotland.
The Monday morning saw us welcome each team in the clubhouse, before making our way down to the golf academy for some practice. The format of the competition for both days was Stableford, with all scores to count on the Par 3’s.
The first round saw twelve teams battle it out on the Ailsa Course, home of the 2009 Open Championship, and this certainly was a championship standard course! The views were stunning, and they were accompanied by a challenging sea breeze which made for a tricky but enjoyable day of golf.
Following the first round, everybody descended to the 19th hole for a well-deserved drink, before checking into the outstanding Trump Turnberry Hotel.
On the Monday evening, our guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal with a selection of red and white wine. The winners of day one were presented with a bottle of Slingsby’s Gin for their superior performance. Following the conclusion of the dinner a golf-related quiz took place and the winner was presented with a signed, framed John Daly photo.
The following day, our guests were up bright and early to enjoy a full fried breakfast with a continental buffet before hitting a few balls on the driving range in preparation for the second round of their experience.
The second day of golf took place on the King Robert The Bruce Course. Similarly, to the Ailsa course it was a test of golfing ability but made thoroughly enjoyable by the breath-taking views.
The experience was concluded by a post-golf lunch in the club house and a prize presentation for the winners of the second day, and the overall winners over the two days.
