Impulse Decisions Team Takes on Challenge Yorkshire 2026 to Support Yorkshire Children’s Charity
Last month Luke, Ross, Will, Aimee and Tilly took on Challenge Yorkshire 2026 in support of Yorkshire Children’s Charity, a charity we work very closely with.
On Sunday 12 July 2026, Challenge Yorkshire was a gruelling four-hour endurance event that pushes competitors both physically and mentally. More importantly, it provides an opportunity to raise vital funds for Yorkshire Children’s Charity and its Warm, Dry & Ready to Learn campaign, helping vulnerable children across the region receive the essentials they need to thrive.
Supporting Children Across Yorkshire
Yorkshire Children’s Charity works tirelessly to improve the lives of children facing difficult circumstances. The charity provides support for families affected by poverty, disability, sickness and family hardship, ensuring children have access to necessities that many of us take for granted.
We’re incredibly proud to share that, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, Team Impulse Decisions raised £680 for Yorkshire Children’s Charity. These funds will go directly towards providing essential items including winter coats, school shoes, bedding, toiletries, Christmas gifts and warm clothing bundles for children across Yorkshire.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps Yorkshire Children’s Charity continue its incredible work across the county, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to helping us reach this total.
The Ultimate Four-Hour Fitness Test
Challenge Yorkshire is designed to test strength, stamina and determination. Working together as a team, the team tackled an intense series of endurance challenges with very little opportunity to rest.
The challenge included:
- 30 minutes on the Ski Erg
- 30 minutes on the Rower
- 30 minutes on the Static Bike
- 30 minutes of Farmer’s Carry over 200-metre laps around the building
- 30 minutes Lunge Walks with medicine balls over a 10-metre course
- 30 minutes Burpee Broad Jumps over a 10-metre course
- A final 5km outdoor run on a marked route
It proved to be a very tough physical challenge, demanding resilience, teamwork and determination from start to finish with plenty of aching muscles, sweat and determination throughout the day, every kilometre, repetition and minute of the challenge.
Thank You for Your Support
Completing Challenge Yorkshire was an incredible achievement for our team, but raising £680 for Yorkshire Children’s Charity made the challenge even more rewarding.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared our fundraising page and cheered us on throughout our training and on the day itself. Your support helped make this challenge a success, and we’re proud to have played a small part in supporting such an important cause.
