Meet the Impulse team – Craig Stephens
Name: Craig Stephens
Role: Business Development Manager
What does your role involve at Impulse Decisions?
In a nutshell, my role is to get as many events as possible to sign up to Impulse and allow us to run silent auctions at their awards dinner/fundraising evenings. Our offering is free and helps generate a lot of funds for lots of amazing charities.
What did you do before you joined the team?
I was previously an account manager for a promotional merchandise company and before that I was a Sales Support Manager for a business that made bathroom pods and shower cubicles.
What is your favourite part of the job?
I’m quite new to the role so it’s quite hard to answer in full however I know I will get immense satisfaction from getting new clients onboard and making a large contribution to the team.
If you weren’t doing this role, what else would you like to do?
I would love to be a sports pundit on the radio or something like that. Would need to grow some really thick skin though. I could talk sport all day long. Music too come to think of it.
Which events are you looking forward to the most in the next 6mths?
The Superbowl! After football my next favourite thing to watch is the NFL. I find it fascinating and it’s never better when it gets to playoff time and everything is on the line. I’ve been to games at Wembley but to see one in America is the dream. The Tailgate parties will be amazing.
Who would you most like to involve in an event?
I think if you could have someone like Ryan Reynolds or Will Ferrell host an event it would be an amazing night. It could be an awards ceremony for the most mundane thing but they would turn it into the most entertaining night you could imagine.
Who would you most like to have a drink with and why?
If it is someone who is no longer with us then it would be either of my grandparents. And if it is someone who is still with us then I would like Ozzy Osborne please. The stories….
