Role: Experiences & Bookings Assistant
What does your role involve at Impulse Decisions?
My role at Impulse involves making sure all experiences are booked and delivered exactly how the customer wants them. My areas of expertise are UK Experiences and Golf Breaks.
What did you do before you joined the team?
My last role was selling property in Crete, Greece. I was UK based but turned down the opportunity to live and work there to join Impulse!
What is your favourite part of the job?
I would have to say my favourite part of the job is delivering customer satisfaction. There is no better feeling than coming into work and seeing a 5* review, or a lovely email from someone telling you you’ve given them an experience they thoroughly enjoyed! I’d also say i feel very luck to get to work with my amazing colleagues in the office every day!
If you weren’t doing this role, what else would you like to do?
I am hugely passionate about education – I would like to start a non-profit business, building schools in Third World Countries, supplying children less fortunate with education to get out of the circumstances they are in! I would also like to help in other ways i.e. building infrastructure, clean water sources, building roads etc.
Which events are you looking forward to the most in the next 6mths?
I have my first event coming up soon at Rudding Park in Harrogate, so I’d have to say that! Very excited to throw myself in at the deep end and learn more areas of this amazing company!
Who would you most like to involve in an event?
I’d have to say Elon Musk, I think his drive and ethics are outstanding, and I think he would do an amazing job! Whatever he does, he does with 100% determination and accuracy, and I think he would be unbelievable to work with to host an event!
Who would you most like to have a drink with and why?
Hardest question ever! I would have to say Joe Rogan. I’ve been watching him for years and absolutely love his knowledge, questions, and the things he is interested in! I think I would learn a lot and we would have a very good, long conversation as we both share similar interests – It would be an absolute dream to share a whiskey and cigar with the man himself!
